Westminster City Council’s Statement of Licensing Policy
Last year, the City Council consulted on proposed revisions to its Statement of Licensing Policy, which it must publish under s5 Licensing Act 2003.
The new Policy was approved at a full Council meeting in November last year. It came into force on 7 January 2016. The new Policy now applies to applications for e.g. new premises licences and variation of premises licences under Licensing Act 2003 going forward. The City Council must have regard to the Policy when exercising its functions under Licensing Act 2003.
